Consultations

A service we offer free of charge whether in-person, over the phone, or via email. We'll discuss your event in detail. We'll get to know your likes, dislikes, and overall style as we design your dream wedding cake.

Pricing

Cakes with simple & rustic designs will start at a base price of $7.50 per serving. Cakes with a higher level of difficulty & intricacy will be priced based off a predetermined scaling system. 

Elements determining pricing include, but are not limited to cake flavor, number of tiers, supplies, and overall design.

Flavors & Ingredients

Our products are made small batch and from scratch. We do our best to source ingredients locally but more importantly we look to provide customers with the best products using the freshest ingredients possible. 

Here you'll find our wedding cake menu but if you find yourself with a particular flavor combination in mind, please feel free to bring it up during your consultation.

*Keep in mind other flavors or fillings may come at an additional cost.

Servings

All servings are based on 2x2 inch square cuts. Cakes are made up of 3 layers of cake, 3 layers of buttercream, and/or 3 layers of filling. 

All Faux cakes will have 'real cake' inserts in a designated section for the cake cutting ceremony. The insert location will only be disclosed to the bride, groom, and wedding planner.  

Delivery & Setup Pricing

Cake and Large Pastry deliveries within Richmond City and surrounding counties come at a flat rate. Any location outside of the Greater Richmond area is subject to additional fees, including out of state destinations.

 

Planning a wedding can be exhausting but relax, you've reached the fun part! 

Faux or Real?

For your cake you have a couple of options. Cakes can either be Real or Faux. Real cakes are 100% edible top to bottom and cut on site by your catering company. Faux cakes are mostly non-edible, used for display and the cake cutting ceremony. Faux cakes are accompanied by presliced sheet cakes reserved behind the scenes out of the guests view. Neither cake is better than the other, but they do offer different capabilities. Below are highlights of the two.

  • Accompanied sheet cake, easy for serving and taking home leftovers!

  • Uniformly decorated cake slices

Real

  • 100% edible

  • Cut onsite by catering company

  • Many, but not all Faux cake designs can be replicated

  • Not recommended for outdoor use or warm weather months

  • Cake Cutting Ceremony can happen anywhere on cake

  • No Styrofoam use

  • Able to serve up to 2 cake flavors with selection

  • Best for small groups with guest counts under 55

  • Non-decorated cake slices served
