Private Tasting
Tastings are available by appointment only. Typically lasting 45 minutes to 1 hour so plan ahead! You'll select 3 cake flavors or 2 pastry items from our menu to sample. Bottled water will be provided. We'll sit down and get to know you, your style, and all of the ins and outs of your event to bring your creation to life. All tastings have a 4 person limit so bring your closest friends or family members to enjoy the experience!
Things to bring
Honesty: Although we aim to please all taste buds, we understand everyone will not like every flavor, texture, or idea. So staying honest with the chef, your guest, and yourself will make for discovering what you truly want an effortless process!
Pictures: Supplying 3-6 photos of inspiration goes a long way in conveying to the chef your likes, dislikes, and any ideas you may have for your order.
Things to avoid
A few things that you’ll want to avoid right before tasting. They’re in your normal routine that you may not think twice about but will drastically alter your tasting experience.
Brushing Teeth - Coats your mouth and imparts toothpaste flavor onto food
Chewing gum/Mints- Imparts strong flavors and masks cake flavors
Eating - Especially spicy foods, residual food flavors will linger in the mouth and impart onto cakes
Pricing
Private Tastings come at a flat rate of $60
Deposits for your event/custom order will be due 7 days after your Tasting and a formal invoice has been sent. Deposits are 40-50% of your grand total.
