What products do we ship?

All single item chocolate boxes (4pc, 9pc, 16pc boxes). Excludes any bundled products containing cakes or pastries items .

When selecting a delivery date, please keep in mind that all of our chocolates at most, have an 18-day shelf-life and should not be ordered too far in advanced of consumption date.

How we ship our Chocolates 

We want to make sure your chocolates arrive to you safely, looking just as they do in our photos. To accomplish this, we package our chocolate in insulated shipping boxes filled with bubble wrap and frozen gel packs. 

Non-shippable Products

 All cake and pastry related items are not shippable outside of Richmond, VA. All cake & pastry items are available to Richmond, VA and surrounding county residents and are delivered by JC Desserts employees. If you’re order contains any cake or pastries items with a delivery address outside of the Richmond, VA area your order will be cancelled. Only chocolate related items are shippable outside of Richmond, VA.

Where do we ship? 

Shipping is available to the Lower 48. This excludes Hawaii & Alaska (See map below).

Standard Shipping Selection 

All orders outside of Richmond, VA using carrier shipping are shipped Monday-Wednesday. Your order will ship within 3-5 business days after being processed unless a future date is requested. Shipping typically takes two days to receive unless there are unexpected delays due to weather or carrier issues. Please select a delivery date based on this and allow for any extra time for reasons previously stated. Please note that we do not ship for Saturday, Sunday or Monday arrivals so please keep this in mind when choosing your arrival date. 

You will receive confirmation via email with your tracking number once your order has been processed. You are able to track your order online after it has been scanned for shipping by clicking the tracking number provided in your email confirmation. 

Please note all pricing is subject to change, depending on the time of year, as well as weight and location. 

Our shipping Policy 

Please provide a United States street address, as we cannot ship to P.O. boxes. Be sure to include the appropriate suite or apartment numbers when necessary to ensure proper delivery, and that someone is home to receive the order as it must be signed for at delivery. 

We want to efficiently process your order so the accuracy of your name, billing address, shipping address, and payment method are highly important. We cannot be responsible for errors in information that is provided to us. Costs resulting from such errors will be charged to the purchaser. 

We are committed to customer satisfaction. For quality insurance every item is carefully inspected before shipping. If there is any issue or discrepancy upon receipt of your order, immediately contact us via email for replacement or refund with pictures of shipping container/box and product containing damage or product issue. These requests MUST be received within 2 days of delivery of the order. After 2 days of receipt, JC Desserts considers the shipment to be delivered and accepted with no issues, and no refunds or reships will be offered. To report issues or send photos of damaged product, please email jcdessertsrva@gmail.com  

We will ship your order in an attempt to satisfy your requested delivery date, however we are not responsible for shipping delays due to weather, mechanical failures, or other factors beyond our control. We recommend choosing a delivery date that is early enough to allow for delays.  

Redirected Package Charges 

When we are given incorrect or incomplete address information or if the shipper is asked to intercept a package in mid-delivery and redirect it to another location, we incur additional charges from our shipping vendors and we have no choice but to pass those charges along to the customer.
